About Us:
Silverthorpe and Daughters is a tiny independent apothecary and mercantile establishment nestled deep within the magical and ancient Isle of Avalon, Glastonbury, UK. We specialise in supplies, art and homewares for the modern witch.
Sabbat Celebration Boxes:
Our carefully curated Sabbat Celebration Boxes contain everything you need to celebrate. Typically they contain:
- A physical copy of our popular sabbat guide for the relevant sabbat
- A physical copy of our guide to Setting Up an Altar and Casting a Circle
- Locally foraged spell ingredients
- A carefully sourced crystal or two (usually in its natural, unpolished state)
- Witchy seeds
- Incense cones
- A candle (vegan option available)
- Added surprises
- Typically 8-12 items per box
All packaged into a box that is just the right size to slip through your letterbox.
Sabbat box options start at just £22, including UK postage.
A monthly light box is also available for only £6/month.
Magical and Medicinal Seeds:
Create your own Green Witch's Garden with our magical seed. All seeds are sourced within the UK and a lunar guide is included should you wish to plant in accordance with the phases of the moon. Our unique packaging is 100% recyclable, 100% biodegradable and contains no plastic of any kind.
Spell Ingredients:
Our ever-increasing variety of locally sourced spell ingredients all come supplied in 100% plastic-free and biodegradable packaging with a note of the ingredients uses for your reference on each packet.
Hag Stones:
Used as a form of protection and to ward off evil, Hag Stones are stones with a hole worn right through them. The holes are formed naturally over thousands of years as the stones move through the waves and motions of the sea before finally finding their way onto the beach.
Altar Tools:
Wooden spoons, natural brushes and tools of all kinds to help you keep your altar spick and span.
Homeware for the modern witch:
Original art prints and homewares to help you live your best witch life. Everything is made to order, printed using vegan-friendly inks and sent in 100% plastic-free packaging.
Digital Guides:
Our digital guides aim to walk you through some of the significant objects and actions that have become associated with the witch's sabbats over the many years they have been celebrated and are designed to help you create your own ceremony using the things that you already have around you.
Tarot Card Prints:
Professional quality, pixel-perfect black and white Rider Waite tarot card prints available to instantly download and print at home or send to your local print shop. The major and minor arcana are all available. Giclée prints are also available, produced with vegan-friendly inks on sustainably sourced paper, sent in 100% plastic-free packaging.
